• Airports - Finding your way around airports can be a duanting task if you can't read the signs and know were your next gate is.
• Asking for directions - What if your lost it is important to be able to ask and understand.
• Resturants - Ordering your food. If you do not know what you are ordering you will be in for an adventure. Here's a funny story about resturants. My wife and I were in Leon, Mexico visting our oldest son who was doing mission work there at the time(he is bilingual). Well he took us to one of his favorite resturants and we set down to order our food. My wife wanted to use her Spanish without any help to order her meal. This is what she ordered, Tacos con Caballo(horse) instead of Tacos con Cebolla (onion) So see it could be an adventure.

Reason #2 Children - Learn spanish with your children, it gives them new skills to learn and gets them away from the video games. These are life long skills that will be a great asset for your children in the future. If you make it into a game it will keep both of you motivated not to mention spending quality time with them.

Reason #3 Work - All of the major cities in the United States have a growing and significant Latino population. To fully reach their target markets businesses will do best if some of their employees learn to speak Spanish. This could be you. There are many excellent benefits to be had for those with another language.
