Has another diet failure got you down. Are you in that totally negative place in your mind where you are saying to yourself things like: You'll never loose weight, I can't do it, I have no will power, and why bother diets never work for me anyway.
Been there, done that.
Negative thinking is so destructive not only to your body, but to your mind as well. It leads to depression, fatigue, and a loss of motivation. You can be down in the dumps for months and just think of how much more weight you'll gain while in that depression. Hurts just thinking about it.
What your in is a Mental Meltdown. You need to pull up the boot straps, shake it off, get back your motivation, Don't give up! Assess your most recent diet failure, compare it to previous failures. Is there a reoccurring hindrance to success? Is it willpower, motivation, lack of focus, no energy or time to exercise. That is basically the same as saying no commitment to the program. If that is the case then why. Were the exercises to hard for you to do. Did they cause you pain, or did you not get the results you were looking for.
So how do you fix the problem. First you need to know what the problem is so assess the situation. As hard as it will be, and it will be hard I know. Assess yourself. What was it about all those diets that made it so difficult for you to stick to them? How can you stop the same thing from happening again. Do you really want to loose weight. I mean really want it for yourself, not because somebody else told you that you needed to loose weight but because you've decided that you are ready. This is a huge part of you life and it can be a hard thing to do on your own. Maybe you need to find a buddy to help you achieve results. Whether it's verbal encouragement or an exercising buddy. sometimes all you need is a picture of what you want to look at over and over again to help motivate you.
So now is the time to break out of the negative place you're in, find your motivation whatever it may be. whether it's getting back into your skinny jeans, loosing weight so you can spend more time playing with your kids or if you just want to look good again. Grab on to that motivation. Repeat it to yourself everyday over and over again. Whatever it takes. Don't let your mental meltdown ruin the results you've already achieved. Find new strength, new commitment to continue your journey and loose all the weight you want to loose and keep it off. Be positive, Be strong, you can do it.
