Music Makes My Life Great

My days are filled with music. I listen to music while I run, clean the house, and write. In the course of a day, I hear many songs that I like, such as "Hall of Fame", "Girl on Fire", and "Maria". Any of these songs could get stuck in my head. One might expect that I would have some problems if I got a song stuck in my head.

One problem that people might expect me to have is difficulty concentrating on my writing. If I had song lyrics going through my head, one might think, how could I focus on my next paragraph? Fortunately, I do not have this problem. Music motivates me to do my work, and I keep the volume low enough so that it does not interfere with my concentration. Distraction that interferes with my writing is not the only problem that one might expect if I got a song stuck in my head, however.

Another problem that one might expect me to have is difficulty sleeping. It would make sense that if I had one or more songs stuck in my head, they would still be in my head when I went to bed, and therefore I would have difficulty going to sleep. I might toss and turn, for example, or simply lie still and let the music play endlessly in my mind. However, I have found that when I do get a song in my head in the daytime, it goes away by the time I go to bed, allowing me to sleep well. There is one more problem that one might expect if I had a song stuck in my head: a headache.

If I had a song on my mind, and it would not go away, one might imagine that I would get headaches--headaches that would make me feel miserable and would make others not want to be around me. Fortunately, getting a song on my mind does not cause this problem. Instead, I usually feel great. I am happy, and others want to be with me.

Since I am able to avoid these problems, my music and I can exist peacefully together. I wake up each morning looking forward to the great songs that I will hear throughout the day, and I am eager to get up, take my shower, get dressed, get to my kitchen, and turn on the radio so that I will not miss a single song. I love music, and I am glad that it is a part of my life.

I avoid listening to music while working as I end up at You Tube, lol. I listen to a lot of music when i am away from the puter myself, and of course play a bit also. :)
