Self Improvement Plan For Dummies

Want to massively accelerate your growth and become the person you've always wanted? Most people will tell you change is hard work and it is! And without the right plan it can takes years, when it only needs to take months!

I will offer three plans 20 minutes a day (the baby,) 1-2 hours a day (fast acceleration,) and full (Full Transformation.) You can go down and see the bolded text and you will find your plan! Please note: not everything I say is for you. You need to take the plan here and develop it to meet your personal requirements. All plans need balance so we will need to work in all areas of life. Emotional, Physical, Financial and Spiritual.

Before we will get into the actual plans I will describe the essential techniques to move rapidly in each area.

Spiritual- We do not need to get into any mumbo jumbo. We will just listen to the silence, focus on our inner body AKA feeling out body (nothing weird,) giving our FULL attention to the task at hand, and watching our thoughts. This can be done sitting or moving.

Financial- I can not give you advice because I don't know your situation. Read, and learn which areas you're struggling with and find books to help you in those areas—then apply!

Emotional- We have two options:

#1-We will use a letting go technique. Whenever you feel something get on your nerves or an emotional state bugging you ask "can I let this go?" If you can't that is fine. Observe the emotion and let it be, it will soon lose it's power over you.

#2- We will find a book that solves a problem in depth and learn about it.

Physical- Find a plan and stick too it. Don't worry about it being perfect, you can always change it later. The important thing is taking action. Stick to any plan and you WILL see results. Make sure it is relativity healthy though. Also walk, jog, play with the kids as exercise. Make it fun :)

The Baby Plan

20 minutes a day 7 days a week. EVERYONE can spear 20 minutes a day! Work in each of the four areas for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, then find your most struggled areas and work extra time in those for the rest of the week.

Rapid Growth Plan

1-2 hours a day 5-7 days a week. You do not have to work weekends with this plan, we know you want to relax! :) For this plan we want to use the same days set-up as the baby plan but we want to spend more time reading. Knowledge is power. The problem is when you try to remember all of that information but don't worry, you can write all the important things on note cards and flip through then a few times a day. Spend about 20% of the time you do reading and learning and 80% of the time taking action.

Life Transformation Plan

This is for the dedicated individual. The VERY dedicated individual. This is full time growth! You can spread out multiple areas of life to work on thought the day, just be sure to stay balanced! You can focus in other areas slightly more until they level out with the others. For this it would be wise to invest in a memory system so you can actually remember all of that information you will be taking in. Otherwise full time growth would be pointless. If you can not remember the concepts, you can not apply them.

Conclusion

Excellent article, Brandon. What you are saying is not only very accurate but well written, as well. As a guitarist I'm always pushing to be better than I was yesterday, and the mentality you develop from following any one of these systems is exactly the mentality needed. I've found that the best practice I've picked up for both spiritual and emotional soundness is meditation. It gives you that half an hour to an hour a day to just sit, reflect, get to know yourself and grow as a person. I've found that my focus, mood and overall stress threshold have greatly increased from this single daily act. Frequent physical activity (exercise) is also vital to the overall process.
