Folks using the Internet are looking for specific information to learn search engine optimization. A browser helps them find this information. When a request is placed in the search bar of a browser, the search engine brings up a list of articles related to the search.
The articles come up into two forms. Articles included in the search results that have no advertising whatsoever, in other words no one paid for the listing, are organic search results.
In other words, and I quote from a post I made recently, "Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements. In contrast, non-organic search results may include pay-per-click PPC advertising."
If a site has organic content, the site looks more interesting and informative to the search engines. Such sites receive a higher ranking. This is called SEO or search engine optimization.
An example I gave in my post was, "If a person wants to grow carrots, he wants information on how to grow carrots. He wants expert information. The more knowledgeable the writer of organic content is, the higher the page ranking."
Organic SEO IS Important
The is that fact that organic SEO, providing quality relevant information in a continuous stream, can be used by the smallest operator and it is free.
Relevant information is economical to purchase from writers, but that is not a requirement. It can be a good investment for a busy webmaster.
Higher Page Rankings Increase Traffic
There are other ways to increase traffic to a website such as social marketing on Twitter, Facebook and other sites. But fresh organic content is usually more effective.
Following are some Organic Search Engine Optimization Tips
You want folks to visit your site because of quality content. You want them to leave comments and click on quality outgoing links. The more visitors that you can have come to your site, the higher your chances of receiving a first page ranking. (Most folks don't look past the second page. I do at time if I'm really digging.)
Keywords and Phrases
When searching for information on the Internet, folks use certain words and phrases more often than others. Such words and phrases are called keywords and keyword phrases.
What Is the Role of Keyword Research in Organic SEO
Webmasters use a keyword tool to find out which keywords are being used most often and to estimate how much traffic they will bring to their site if they are used in an article. (I use JAAXY)
Using the best keywords in the title of your article and sparingly throughout, perhaps only in the first and last paragraph, can improve your situation with the search of his. Don't stuff your article with keywords. You will be punished by the search engines.
Conclusion:
I hope these tips help you to learn search engine optimization. You should always work a niche market, a small part of a larger market. You need to know what questions folks are asking, what problems problems they are facing, and help them to find the answers.
Only when you are helping others, are you in business.
