The health benefits that far infrared saunas claim to yield are numerous and a little hard to believe. In this article we'll take a look at the research and determine if it's all hype or if infrared saunas are really the magic healing machines that they appear to be.

Believe it or not these claims are true and are backed by numerous research studies. The short answer is the amazing ability of far infrared rays to penetrate deeply into the body. This heat reaches internal organs and causes the body to react in different ways that are all beneficial.
For example, the deep heat in the muscles and organs causes the body to respond with a hypothalamic-induced increase in both heart volume and rate. This results in a completely stress free and safe cardiovascular conditioning as the body works to cool itself.
Another point that can account for many of the health benefits from infrared saunas is detoxification. The deep penetrating heat causes the body to release large amounts of toxins and sweat.
