If you have ever been put in charge of decorating an event, you will know that there are some times when the budget does not leave a lot of room for much of anything. From a high school prom to a child’s birthday party to a wedding or anniversary, using cheap helium balloons are a great and colorful way to add a little bit of cheer and can be useful as part of the night’s entertainment as well.
No matter what type of event you are having, there will be a theme and that theme will include a color or a color combination. Thankfully, there are cheap helium balloons in virtually every color you can think of from the pastels to the primary colors and even the metallic colors as well as black and white. The more balloons that you buy, especially from a wholesaler, the more money you will save. Renting a tank and blowing them up on your own site is also a great way to save additional money and is far easier to deal with than having a bunch of already blown up balloons trucked in.
You have a choice for the balloons as well- you can either have words printed on them or not. To keep within the budget that you have set, you should only have a few of the balloons actually printed because they will cost more than the others. For instance, if you are going to have a few printed up with the dates of the event or to advertise a business, just have a few in the bolder color and then fill in with the plain colors.
When it comes to decorating for certain events, especially one where the guests are going to be teens or younger, cheap helium balloons are going to be a bigger hit than other ideas. For instance, what eight year old will be thrilled to death with a eight foot tall ice sculpture if they could have had cheap helium balloon instead?
Another option for cheap helium balloons are the pre-printed Mylar balloons. Again, these are not as cheap as plain ones, so use them as focal points or perhaps in singles to really stand out. A good source for these are some of the dollar type stores which will even blow them up for you without charging you extra. If you have several deflated Mylar balloons, you can refill those, doubling their life.
How you use the cheap helium balloons is entirely up to you- there are plenty of suggestions and tips that you can follow or recreate on your own. Don’t think that you have to lose all of your savings by hiring some balloon “expert”, if there even is such a thing, just have a look at magazines or decorating shows, get your idea and then go for it. Because that is another of the advantages of using cheap helium balloons- they are pretty forgiving to work with.
