Time is money and having the right tools for the job like the Ingersoll Rand Hammerhead impact wrench are essential to earning your living and will save you a ton of frustration. Get ready to bang out more repairs faster than you ever thought possible, it doesn't matter if your a veteran automotive tech working in a fast paced repair shop, a millwright, a factory mechanic or a home hobbiest do-it-yourselfer working out of your man cave.
The days of piecing together the right combination of swivels, wobblies, and extensions trying to loosen that nut or bolt that’s almost impossible to reach because of awkward angles and tight spaces are over.
Ingersoll Rand the global leader in air tool design has recently released the all new ergonomically engineered Ingersoll Rand Hammerhead impact ratchet.
The Hammerhead impact ratchet is a powerful hybrid air tool unlike any other on the market to date, it is a pneumatically- driven (compressed air powered) impact wrench that has incorporated the power of an impact gun with the versatility of an air ratchet. The Ingersoll Rand Hammerhead 2015MAX (3/8” drive) and the 2025MAX (1/2” drive) put out 180 lbs. of nut busting torque @ 7,100 revolutions per minute and is engineered with a 90-degree low profile head that is less than 2 inches in height, for accessing those tight hard to reach places an impact wrench just won’t get too.
The Hammerheads incorprates a two position power regulator for precision power regulation, and a feather touch trigger that provides maximum control and handling no matter what position the tool is being operated in.
Unlike conventional air ratchets that have the forward/reverse mechanisms located on the head, which make it almost impossible to switch directions on the fly, the Hammerhead has a smartly designed forward/reverse collar conveniently located on the body of the tool that makes it possible for you to change directions with a single finger incase the tool gets wedged while extracting a nut or bolt .
A common problem that powerful impact air tools have is they have a tendency to torque twist when the fastener you are trying to loosen or tighten either won’t break loose or has reached it’s max torque, which causes the operators wrist to twist or fingers to get smashed. Those days are over because the Ingersoll Rand Hammerhead is designed to be reactionless, and yes you read that right, REACTIONLESS, no more busted knuckles.
Designed and engineered for power and speed the IR hammerhead impact ratchet is one bad ass thats going to get plenty of use. A definite toolbox essential that will definitely speed up your productivity, and increase your bottom line.
