If you're reading this article, you are probably fed up with the hundreds of scams out there on the internet and are probably looking for a legit work from home opportunity but have yet to find one. So, how do you avoid work from home scams? I'll tell you exactly how: lots and lots of research.
Now you wouldn't buy a brand new car before trying it out right to make sure you like it would you? Of course you wouldn't. Then you would never buy into a product or "job" before trying it out first, would you? No and you shouldn't if you want to avoid getting scammed.
A simple way to make sure a work at home opportunity is legit is to look up reviews of the site or name of the opportunity. To do that simply type in the name of the site or opportunity into Google and see what you come up with. Most likely you will come across a ton of reviews, forums or even articles like this one telling you all you need to know about that particular opportunity. If however, you don't get the information you are looking for off the bat, trying typing in the word SCAM at the end of the search term and see what you get. That should would perfectly.
What should pop up on Google is a list of forums, reviews and articles for the search term you typed in. Look into as many as you desire. I know for me I even look into nearly every result I can find until I have my decision. Based on your finding, make the final decision whether the opportunity is real or not. If the site is promising you lots of money or posting various ridiculous screenshots of their earnings and want you to pay a "small" amount to try it out....most likely it's a scam.
Be careful though. From experience I know that there are only a handful of online opportunities out there that only want to make money off of you and nothing else. They don't care that you need to pay your bills, or that your children need to be fed, or that you need to pay your mortgage....THEY JUST DON'T CARE. Those sites also don't even care if you succeed or not in making money. Will they help you throughout the process? Probably not.
But don't worry! If you follow the steps I have laid out or you....no company will ever scam you again!
Loved the article. I am tickled to be working from home by writing for Street Articles. However, I just signed up with Google AdSense, and I have not heard from them. I hope that there isn't a problem with my application, because I am eager to start earning money on my articles. Best of luck with your writing!
