Here is a great toning and tightening mask made from lemons and egg whites. Squeeze 1/2 a lemon and using 1 egg white, beat them together for about 3 minutes. Apply this to your face making sure that you avoid putting close to your eyes. Leave this on for about 30 minutes then rinse off with some warm water.
Here is a homemade body scrub with sea salt. Mix together, 1 cup of coarse sea salt and 1/2 cup baby oil, into a small jar with a screwed on lid. Leave this alone for about 24 hours before using. Massage it into your skin for only a few minutes then shower it off and pat your skin dry afterwards.
Here is an excellent skin treatment for dry skin. Combine 1 teaspoon baby oil and 2 tablespoons real mayonnaise. Apply this to your face, neck and on your rough knees, elbows and other areas that are dry. Leave it on for about 20 minutes. Using lukewarm water simply rinse off.

A great face mask for moisturizing is by using avocados. You should use an avocado which has turned that brownish colour and ready to throw away, but wait, use it for this mask. This is especially good to use in the winter. Mix together 1 ripe avocado, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 egg white (which is at room temperature). Whisking them together is a good way to whip it up. Using 1 tablespoon at a time and simply applying it evenly to your clean face, avoid contact with your eyes. Letting it dry on your face for about 30 minutes then using warm water, rinse off.
One more face mask recipe for you to try is using coconut oil and carrots, great one for dry skin. Using 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (organic) and 1 carrot (top removed and washed) Chop up the carrot into approx. 5 or more chunks, add to about 1 inch of boiling water in a pan, cook carrots on low heat covered. Steam them for about 10 minutes (covered). After water is drained, put carrots into a blender or food processor, adding the coconut oil and blend it until it is smooth (pureed). After you wash your face apply the mask, keep away from mouth and eyes. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes then simply wash off with warm water . You can moisturize your skin after you are finished.
