Are you troubled with acne and other skin disorders? Did you know that Fish oil can help you achieve blemish free skin? This excellent omega3 supplement can help reduce inflammation and heal your skin from the inside out.

This awesome health giving supplement helps improves the texture of your skin by increasing hydration in the cells of your skin.

Because of its high anti-inflammatory properties it helps to reduce puffiness, redness and irritation of your acne.

It helps to reduce your stress level because of its ability to balance your mood, thereby causing your oil producing glands to produce less oil.

Fish oil reduces the production of androgens. Thus lessen the amount of oil produced by your skin. Over production of your sebum will lead to acne and other skin disorder.

There are many prescription and over the counter treatments available for acne, however many of them only treat one of the causes therefore you will not get rid of your acne by using these treatments. And because most medications have side effects you might probably end up with other health related problems which are not good.Acne is caused from several different reasons. Let me list a few of them below:

1. Oil gland inflammation

2. Hormonal activity

3. Clogged pores

4. Bacteria

Many of the medications prescribed for acne helps to unclog your skin pores, exfoliate the skin cells that are dead and improve the regeneration of skin cells. However bacteria caused acne can be treated with prescribed antibiotics.

In earlier times research led doctors to believe that the deficiency of tetracycline led to acne, and that is why tetracycline antibiotics was used to treat acne. However recently scientific research has proven that this is not entirely the case.

Other skin specialist used a Vitamin A substance known as Retin A to treat acne; however Retin A has its own problems. The side effects of this treatment were burning sensation, itching, dryness and skin peeling.

While acne can be caused from the various problems mentioned above another source of acne can come from the foods you eat. There is a saying that goes "you are what you eat" and that is so true. Your diet can adversely affect the appearance of your skin.

Processed foods high in vegetable oil, greasy, sweet, fried foods will significantly increase your chance of acne break outs. Eating foods that are low in sugar and baked instead of fried will significantly improve the appearance of your skin.

Fish oil which is high in omega 3 and omega6 fatty acids is a great way of giving your body the essential nutrients it needs to lower your chance of experiencing acne.

If you can find a pure fish oil for acne that has high anti-inflammatory properties then chances are you will greatly enhance your appearance and help repair your damaged skin.

Fish oil should be an important part of your diet as it is not only good for the skin it also has many great health benefits.
