When pondering how to get rid of cellulite on back of thighs, you have to first think about how you got it in the first place. You don't have to be overweight to have cellulite. So the misconception that you have to diet or do hours of cardio to get rid of cellulite is misleading and unfounded. We'll be talking a little about where cellulite comes from and how you can get rid of it without dieting or exhausting yourself at the gym.

Cellulite generally comes from a variety of factors. Since it usually affects women, gender clearly plays the biggest part of its existence. Genetics also predisposes a lot of women to cellulite. If your mom, sisters, and aunts have it, you'll likely have it as well.

As I mentioned earlier, you don't have to be overweight to have cellulite. In fact, a lot of women that are looking to get rid of cellulite are not overweight at all. They want to look good in a swimsuit for the summer, wear those nice short shorts, or just feel confident nude. With that being said, if you are severely overweight then you will need to workout more and maintain a sensible diet.

Now for those that do not need to lose weight but are still plagued by cellulite, please know that dieting is not the solution. Do not deprive yourself into thinking that you must starve yourself into a cellulite free body. That is just not the case.

Now, we all must try and eat healthy to keep our internal organs working at maximum efficiency. I'm not at all saying that you should just eat whatever it is that you want. I would like for you to be just as concerned about your internal well-being as you are with your appearance. I'm talking about feeling good inside and out.

Exercising as little as 22 minutes a day can help...

There are lower body exercises that can be done in the comfort of your own home to help shape, tone and get rid of cellulite on the lower body. Lunges, squats, and leg lifts are just a few simple moves that can be done. You don't need any special equipment to do any of these exercises. Your own body weight is more than enough to get you going and tone you up. But if you are super serious about fast results, add a pair of 5 to 10 pound dumbbells to add more resistance and speed up your progress.
