People have been asking me all week to write up a Dermatend review, so I'm happy to say I've finally completed it! As many of you already know, I set out a few weeks ago to get rid of my skin tags once and for all. I tried a number of different skin tag removers and remedies, with the primary goal of find the most effective skin tag remover on the market.
Although I'm not sure if I've found that yet, I think Dermatend does come pretty darn close! In this article, I'm going to provide an in-depth review of the Dermatend skin tag removal system. I'm going to discuss what ingredients are in it, how its works, and whether or not this product is actually effective. Towards the end of my review, I show you where you can find special buying tips if you're looking to get this product online.
If you're trying to figure out whether or not this product will actually help you get rid of those pesky skin blemishes, you've come to the right place!
How It Works
The idea behind Dermatend is actually quite simple. It is basically a cream that you apply to parts of your skin that have skin tags, moles, warts, or other skin blemishes. Although it comes in a couple of different strength levels, it is supposed to completely remove your skin blemishes in just a couple of days.
One of the key features the company advertises is that this product is made from organic herbs, and therefore features only natural ingredients. That means there are no foreign chemicals in it that could potentially be problematic for your health. This should give some peace of mind to health enthusiasts worried about products that haven't been tested properly or that might have nasty side effects!
The process consists of a few different steps:
- Prepping the skin blemish by scraping it with a toothpick or emery board
- Applying Dermatend to the skin tag
- Waiting for 30 minutes
- Washing off the cream
- Drying the area with a towel
Now this process may not be ideally suited for the squeamish as it actually requires you to puncture right into the skin (with a tooth pick or something). However, this is important as it allows the cream to seep right into the skin tag, thus breaking through right to the root. After doing a bit of research, I found that some Dermatend reviews noted how it was necessary to actually poke the skin tag quite substantially for the cream to work properly.
If you get the regular version, you will have to repeat the process a couple of times, and the skin blemish will disappear after three days. If you get the extra strength version, your skin tag will supposedly disappear overnight.
My Results
I was beginning to get a bit discouraged after trying a number of skin tag removers that didn't work. So I went into Dermatend thinking it would be just another junk product.
I bought the extra strength version because I wanted to get rid of my skin tags fast. I followed the instructions exactly and waited the 30 minutes as specified. After washing off the cream and going to bed that night, I wondered whether I would wake up with most of my skin tags gone.
When I woke up the next day, I noticed that the skin tags in the spots where I had applied the cream were much darker. When I reached to touch one of them, it fell right off! I was quite surprised, as I didn't think this product would work (or at least not as fast!). But there it was, sitting on my sink, completely detached from its previous spot on my neck.
Now I was a bit worried because it left behind a little white spot. I wasn't sure if this meant there might be a bit of a scar there. But this spot disappeared after a few days, and now you wouldn't know there was a blemish there at all!
So as far as I'm concerned, this product actually works quite well. It is not 100% effective, as there were some moles on my body that required multiple treatments with the cream. But overall, I was quite impressed
Special Note If You're Buying Dermatend Online
Now it might be very tempting to just go out and buy Dermatend from the first vendor you see. However, be aware of various skin tag removal scams out there. The skin care industry is a very large one, as there are lots of people just like you eager to improve the look of their skin.
Unfortunately, this means there are also lots of knock-off products out there that don't work at all. They may sound like Dermatend, but they actually are just a home-made cream that does nothing for skin tags! Don't make that mistake. When you buy it online, make sure you are actually buying it from the official company. One particular article I came across was very helpful in discussing buying tips to help you avoid scams and get a great deal.
In the end, doing proper research on the product well help you make an informed decision before buying it. Find out whether or not this product would make a worthwhile investment before buying it. And if you do buy it, make sure you get it from the official site.
