The Effectiveness Of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Treatment

As a woman of colour who has suffered from a severe hyperpigmentation due to pregnancy and hormonal changes, I can tell you honestly that between finding the right Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation Treatment and waiting for the treatment to begin to have effect on the scars, discouragement and frustration can set in real fast.

Dealing with post inflammatory hyperpigmentation treatment is not a small task especially when you have scars and spots that are almost 5 times as dark as your original skin tone. I am talking about hyperpigmentation scars that appear black in colour which can take forever to clear when left to do so on their own. If you really want the red, purple, brown or black patches on your skin to lighten and match your skin tone, then you must start thinking about using a suitable post inflammatory hyperpigmentation treatment to tackle it and fast.

Thank God for dedicated researchers who have made it possible for people like me to get back my youthful glow by fading my hyperpigmentation scars within 3 months. It didn't come easy but with commitment, following some basic rules and using an appropriate hyperpigmentation treatment, I was able to get rid of my scars to achieve an even skin tone.

I have seen a lot of women who have been through the joys of pregnancy, childbirth and breast feeding come out with uneven skin tone due to the hormonal changes, inflammatory acne and every other thing they encountered during these times. For some of these women, once the situation that originally caused the uneven skin tone goes away; their skin begins to return to its normal state with the application of their regular skin care routine.

For most of the other women like me, waiting for the hyperpigmentation scars to fade on their own would mean waiting for months or years. This is where you would require an intervention in the form of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation treatment , which can be prescribed, bought over the counter or straight from your kitchen.

The use of topical depigmenting agents (bleaching agents) is usually the first line of action. These can either be bought over the counter at your local pharmacy or prescribed by your dermatologist. An example would be products containing hydroquinone, azelaic acid, kojic acid or retinoids.

There are also good natural skin bleaching agents that can be found in your kitchen and the consistent use of these natural home remedies have been proven to significantly reduce acne scars or melasma. Natural home remedies incorporating natural skin lighteners like lemon, oatmeal, tomatoes, almond, carrot juice and milk can be used to fade mild to moderate hyperpigmentation scars. You can either whip up a recipe yourself or buy a product made with natural ingredients.

If you suffer from mild to moderate postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, using one of the above suggested post inflammatory hyperpigmentation treatment would help clear your scars and draw you closer to achieving your dream goal of having a youthful glow and an even skin tone. Don’t be discouraged, it is never too late to begin treatment.
