Use Baking Soda to Remove Your Acne And Acne Scars!

Baking Soda is a marvelous creation. It can be used in for so many different things - and it's very popular in cooking. You've probably got some in your kitchen right this very instant! Personally I always find it fun to make volcanos with the stuff, but please ignore my childish and random urges. I'll cut to the bit you're interested in: healing acne and acne scars. Baking soda is one of the most recommended, and most popular ways to help heal acne and acne scars and with good reason - it has an incredible success level. So why not give it a go?

The easiest time to use baking soda is just after you get up the morning or just before you turn in for the night - but of course it's up to you when you choose to use it. Take a couple of teaspoons of baking soda (if you don't have any it can be purchased for about $3), put it into a bowl and add a few drops of water. Not enough to make it a liquid, just enough so that you are able to form a paste of sorts. This is a paste that you will then massage into your face. Yes, it does sting a bit - that's okay. It will feel slightly rough and this is okay as well. What the baking soda is doing is helping to exfoliate the skin. This helps the skin shed cells more effectively and can help reduce further breakouts. If you have any current acne, rub it over that as well - many people have seen fantastic results for their acne as well.

Leave the mixture on for ten minutes or so. Yeah, you'll look a bit weird but so? When you're done with it, rinse it off well. Baking soda does tend to leave the skin a bit dry, but that's okay because I'm sure you've got a nice moisturizer that you can slap on immediately don't you? If not, just wash the skin well and drink a glass of water.

How long does baking soda take to do its thing? In some cases it can be as quick as a couple of days. Others may find that it takes a few weeks or a few months for baking soda to really work properly. In the end though - does it really matter how long it takes? Results are all you want right? In my experience, baking soda does work pretty fast, but like all natural acne scar remedies you may need to give it a bit of time. But that's fair enough.
