Vitamin E oil for scars

Vitamin is believed to be very beneficial to the skin and is a very common ingredient nowadays that can be found in many skin care products, its not only good for the skin, but is used as a natural preservative in cosmetics, lotions etc. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that is also fat soluble, it's believed to prevent the formation of free radicals in the skin, because of ultraviolet rays, pollution etc. You can improve your skin condition as well as prevent other skin diseases with the consistent use of vitamin E, both topically and by taking supplements.

Although there is no scientific evidence to back up the claims that vitamin E oil will get rid of scars, there are many people that have effectively used it to fade scarring and treat other skin conditions such as overly dry skin. After you have cleaned the affected area with the scars with an antibacterial soap, pat the area dry and apply the vitamin E oil over the scar. Make sure that you apply it at night and 15 minutes before you get into bed because this is when skin cell regeneration occurs at a much faster rate.

The Effectiveness of Vitamin E oil For Acne Scars

In order to fade acne scars, many people turn to vitamin E as part of their chosen remedy to accomplish this particular task. While some people do use the actual oil itself, others use vitamin E oil in the form of capsules. It's important to know that if you have sever scarring and would like to rid acne scars , perhaps other surgical methods and treatment options would be better suited for your needs. If you ever experience any side effects while using vitamin E, it's recommended that you discontinue use and instead try something else.
