What Is A Turkey Neck? Can You Get Rid Of It?

You may hear people talking about having a turkey neck, or a gobbler neck, or about someone else having one. You also may be aware of what they are talking about, or you may be completely confused, and asking yourself what is a turkey neck.

To begin with, a turkey neck is not a double chin. It is excess skin that is sagging down from the back part of your neck, and hanging, sagging or drooping down. It jiggles, and is not something that is pleasant for the person that has it.

Turkey neck can be caused by several factors, from gaining weight, sun exposure and the uv rays that damage your skin, smoking is another factor, as well as age. Your skin starts to lose its elasticity and tone over a period of time, and this is where the sagging turkey waddle comes in.

Is there a way that you can get rid of a turkey neck if you have one, besides having plastic surgery, or cosmetic surgery? The answer to that question is yes. Absolutely yes, there are several different types of exercises that can be done, to tighten not only the skin on your neck, but you can also firm up the skin on your face.

If you have frown line, crows feet, laugh lines, or just about any other problem with your face, you can take care of it without surgery.

Facial exercises, when done properly, as instructed, can be beneficial not only to smooth out the lines and wrinkles on your face and neck, but it can also help improve your skins coloring. Doing exercises, will increase the blood flow to the face, and give you a natural, younger looking complexion.

This can work wonders for your self confidence and attitude. When you look better, you feel better.

Of course you should always drink plenty of fluids, especially water, to help keep your body as well as your skin hydrated.

Also, any skin moisturizers that you currently use, and really like will help to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated as well. When your skin gets dehydrated, you will notice that it loses some of it ability to bounce back if you pull it out a little from a part of your body, such as your arm. The skin just cannot bounce back as quickly as normal if it is dehydrated.

These facial exercises are done by using your hands, where you exercise different muscles in various parts of your face. You can actually start to see results within seven days, which is absolutely amazing.

Being given the choice between having a very risky cosmetic surgery, with someone cutting my face or neck, and spending thousands of dollars, not to mention the pain you have to endure, I would opt for the facial exercises any day of the week.

The option is yours, depending on if you really want to take a very expensive risk of disfigurement, or go the sensible route of doing facial exercises or facial gymnastics a few minutes daily, to keep your skin younger and more beautiful.
