I can't believe I'm saying this, but my wife thinks I'm a snore. She is probably right. This is my story on how a stop from snoring, saved my marriage.
It's true I snore. Apparently a lot. At least that's what she implies, so it must be true. But I'm asleep most of the time, anyway, so its a bit of a mystery to me.
I'm sure I don't snore all of the time, but I'm aware that as I get older, there might be a likely hood that I am snoring a bit more that I used to. Yes, that must be it. Also when I have a little too much to drink, it seems like its worse. I've read that being overweight adds to the problem. But, what can I do about it? Sometimes when I briefly wake up in the night, I find myself on sleeping my back, which always seems to make things worse.
My wife is really quite understanding. Most of the time, anyway. But I really can't tell how much I snore and so I really don't know how much it affects her or her sleep. But I'm guessing its significant. Needlessly to say, I am really quite motivated to find a solution for my snoring problem - for me and for the sake of my wife.
A friend told me about a device that helps solve the snoring issue and isn't too invasive. I've heard lots of negatives regarding the C-PAP, and I've read that most people who prescribed it, don't like using it because its too invasive or uncomfortable. So, what's the point of not using something that is supposed to help. Rather than subjecting yourself to a device that is so uncomfortable to I felt that I should give this other device a try, which my friend assured me that it wasn't invasive or uncomfortable, like the C-PAP.
The Aveo TSD is a simple stop snoring device that works that is lightly attached to the end of your tongue. It works simply by holding the tongue out of your breathing passageway, which is the major cause of the condition that causes snoring.
But I have to be honest, the first night I tried it I found it a bit uncomfortable. The main issue was that although it was well fitted, I am used to sleeping with my mouth closed - at least until I start to unconsciously snoring. It took a bit of getting used to, but now feels quite normal, and I finally have a solution to my condition. And my wife can now get a good night's sleep. Its worth checking out the Aveo TSD.
