How To Stop Snoring At Night Using 3 Simple Exercises

Snoring affects many adults while they are sleeping at night. While many instances of snoring are harmless, often times snoring may affect and disturb sleeping patterns of the snorer as well as the people sharing the room. This leads to a bad night's rest as well as fatigue during the day. Luckily there are many simple solutions out there to combat snoring.

All snoring treatments revolve around clearing the air passageways for breathing. While there are many possible causes, often times it can be caused by throat weakness or an incorrect position of the jaw caused by tension.

In this article I will show you how to stop snoring at night using some simple exercises to help target and build key muscles associated with snoring in order to prevent it.

Exercise 1: Chewing to exercise the jaw The first exercise on how to stop snoring at night is to work out the jaw in order to get rid of the tension. Start by closing your mouth and pretend your are chewing gum. Always keep the mouth closed while moving your molars apart and then lightly touching them together again. While chewing, make an "mmm" sound as it will also help open the throat better. Increase the time for exercise as you become more familiar with it.

Exercise 2: Singing to exercise the throat The second exercise on how to stop snoring at night is to work out the throat in order to prevent the throat from collapsing during sleep which causes snoring. To look at how to strengthen the throat muscles, we can use the exercises by those that have strong throat muscles, which is singers. They already know how to stop snoring at night since they frequently exercise their throat muscles. To do this exercise, simply sing La-La-La as loud as you can. Remember to try and focus on your throat muscles as you do this.

Exercise 3: Clucking to exercise the tongue The third exercise on how to stop snoring at night is to make clucking noises. Start by placing your tongue on the roof of your mouth and then open your mouth an start making clucking noises. Alternatively you can close your mouth and make slurping noises to exercise your tongue.

There are many techniques on how to stop snoring at night using simple exercises for a couple of minutes a day. The key on how to stop snoring at night using exercises is to exercise consistently. The stop snoring exercises can be a very effective home remedy to stop your snoring and it only takes just minutes a day.
