The noisy neighbours are looking to hold on to their title that took them more than 20 years to claim again. Even though Man-City have been lagging behind their arch rivals Man-United, Man City have won 6 of their last 7 league encounters. The Blues have shown much character after the absence of three of their key players irrespectively Yaya Toure,Samir Nasri & Kun Aguero. Most of the City fans were worried about the absence of these key players and City have displayed enormous courage and great character after winning back to back home and away games. Man City have now gained a well deserved respect in England and Europe as a whole. Even though they have displayed poor form in European club games the Blues are absolutely looking to build their appetite in that direction.
Man City are definitely not short of experience and undoubtedly not short of world class player. Ever since 2008 the team was bought by The Abu Dhabi Group. The team had deeper pockets after changing ownership they spent about 350 million pounds in a space of 2 years. The Blues broke the British transfer record by signing the Brazialian sensation Robinho from Real Madrid for 32.5 million pounds.
In 2009 the club spend an UN-expected amount of money on transfers they spent well above 100 million pounds which made a lot of critics talk. City had a long list of players who were on tranfers to count a few players who were part of the list: Kolo Toure(from Arsenal), Carlos Tevez(Manchester United), Emmanuel Adebayor(Arsenal) just to name a few. From then City has moved very far, in 2011/2012 was the very season when the Baclays Premier Legue drought was ended. Man City are now looking to take their second successive league but it was never meant to be easy for the blues, they are currectly 5 points behind the log leaders Manchester United after a draw with Tottanham.
The next clash for the Blues will be with QPR where they would be favored to win the match. After almost 3 games of absence Kun Aguero will be looking to get back in the first team after injury as well as Samir Nasri who also had an injury was been declared fit for the next game as they made appearances in the second half of the last one between City and Fullham. City should be reigning Champions come end off 2012/2013 season May this year!! They have displayed a great deal of character, they have shown what being champions is really about. The City are the Champions in no time the whole world will know!
