Cons Of The New Facebook Changes And What You Can Do To Make It Better

Face book has been trying to make a lot of changes to its website recently. What confuses me is who those changes for and who is having the maximum advantages for those changes. Face book had been facing a lot of issues in the past as it was not able to monitor the content being displayed by its user. And as face book is a large social network with a diversity of users some things liked by people seem in appropriate to others. This is one of the major reasons for most of the changes but this in turn has caused problems for users as they are unable to maintain their privacy.

One of the major issues with face book is the privacy. Its new updated profile and web page allows your personal information to be viewed by a third party. For example it displays where your friends have been, whom they have been talking to which in turn further allows you to visit that third persons profile even if they are not your friends.

The new design has also slowed down the process of getting updates. The live feeds keep on changing and updating themselves which in turn causes your web page to move itself constantly changing what you are viewing due to which you get lost and forget what your were browsing earlier. It also makes it impossible for you to focus on your friends and reply to their comments as you are also forced to with connect your friend’s friend   who are not even on your list.

Another major issue is with the status update. The updates for your friends are now displayed on the top of the web page, and they only display one or two so if you need to see more you have to press next.

The feature of instant personalization is also causing huge problem for many face book users as it allows your personal information to be displayed on other websites which are partners with face book this includes yelp, bing  and pandora.

The feature of like is also creating issues with many users. For example if you visit some website and click like on it. This will be displayed on your web page for everyone to see without you even logging on.

One of the best ways to avoid this is by deactivating your account. This simply hides your account so that your personal information is no longer visible to anyone. Juts simply go to this site and change your account settings http://www.facebook.com/login.phpyou. You can easily reactivate any time you like as the personal information is kept safe for you. For to reactivating your account you need visit http://www.facebook.com/login.php.

When it comes to dealing with instant personalization all you have to do is log on to face book click on to your privacy setting in applications and website and unchecks the instant personalization option. This helps in making sure your information is not being shared with a third party.

Some of the problems can only be solved by complaint on face book which allows users to interact with face book. Some of the problems have even been solved but it will still take time for face book to improve itself.
