It is not a secret that Facebook is now the largest Social Media Network in the World and not only that but it just continues to grow. So it would just make sense to take advantage of this platform to get more exposure to your Business. Whether you’re trying to Brand Yourself or Your Company it does not matter. Facebook is not only a Powerful Marketing Tool it is also Free for those who do not have the Budget for any type of paid marketing at the time. So today I would like to just go over a few pointers and give you some strategies on how to make Facebook your new best friend when it comes to Branding Yourself and or Marketing a Company or Product.
1. Create A Fan Page
First things first, if you do not have your own Fan Page yet then I suggest before you go any further you want to create your own Fan Page. You may say that you already have a Facebook Page but you do not want to use your Personal Page to Market to your target audience. I remember when I first started in my first MLM Company my Wall became the “Wall Of Spam”. So if your friends and family don’t really understand what you are doing, they will just think that you page has been hacked. Which in return will keep people from interacting with you and that you do not want to happen. More importantly it is against Facebook Guidelines to promote your Business on your personal page, so you are risking for Facebook to close your page all together.
2. Stay Consistence
It sounds very simple but more people have trouble doing this than you can ever imagine. Stay consistence, with Facebook being a free tool it can take a little longer to build you audience and to start getting people engaged in what you are doing. But it will happen as long as you stay consistent in what you are doing. Your Audience wants to know that you are serious with what you are doing. Also being consistent will help you build trust between you and the individual following you.
3. Don’t Sell-Do Create Value And Custom Tabs
Also make sure not to turn your Fan Page into a Sales Page, people do not want to be sold they are on your page because they are looking for value. So focus on ways that you can get your audience involved. You can do that by writing a creative Post or sharing a Blog. I also recommend that you create some Custom tabs on your Fan Page, you can use those Tabs to capture new leads or to get people to look at anything you have to offer without turning your Fan Page into a Sales Page.
