Most people that find downsides to the beautifully created device called iPhone are watching at its inability to be connected to certain peripherals like Firewire, USB ports and so on.
People that are not so tech savy are throwing “stones” at Apple every time they want to connect their iPhone to
USB devices without knowing that this phone can easily be connected to them by using the Bluetooth device.
The Bluetooth device is widely used for connecting the wireless headphones but when it comes to use it for greater purposes like accessing your iPhone from a certain device that don’t have a USB port or it has it but you can’t connect the iPhone to it.
The Pair Process
Pairing is a complicated name but with an easy explanation: pairing is used to connect any kind of device to the iPhone regardless.
Pairing a device to the iPhone will always stay the same so this tutorial will be evergreen and the only thing that you need to do in order to successfully pair your device that has a Bluetooth with the iPhone is to follow this step by step tutorial.
This tutorial will apply to every gadget that iPhone released and will release (iPod, iPad, iPhone):
Step 1: We will begin the pairing process by aligning two devices with a Bluetooth connection available (an iPhone and something to which you want to connect the iPhone).
All the Bluetooth connections are made at small distances so make sure that you are not too far away from the device you want your iPhone to connect to (most of the times 10-30 feet).
Step 2: This step should be done on both devices and what you need to do here is to enable the Bluetooth connections on both devices.
Finding the Bluetooth settings couldn’t be more simple as you only need to search for the setting options in your iPhone menu, hit the Bluetooth icon and voila, you just entered in Bluetooth options.
Step 3: Now we need to enable the Bluetooth options from the settings menu by moving the slider from OFF to On.
Step 4: Make sure your iPhone is in discoverable mode (you need to set it to be discovered by other devices)
Step 5: Make sure the device to which you want to connect the iPhone is also on discoverable mode so you can see it on the iPhone listed Bluetooth devices when you search for it.
Step 6: Now that you successfully enabled Bluetooth on both devices and you also made them discoverable one to the other, hit the search button on iPhone and after the search is over, click on the device you want to be paired with it.
Step 7: Most of the devices should have a default pass code and in case they don’t have one, you will just need to accept the request for connection to the required device by the other device by taping accept or something like that.
Step 8: Well, this is not necessarily a step but more like an announcement that this tutorial just ended and you’ve successfully paired your iPhone with a device and you are ready to use it.
Don’t forget that the Bluetooth’s action range is just a few feet and if you move the devices too far apart one from the other, the connection will surely be lost and in case you are transferring something when the connection is lost, everything needs to be restarted because you can’t resume the transfer fail.
While Wi-Fi connection being ON consumes the battery much faster as the Bluetooth, it’s a good practice to check your Bluetooth once in a while to make sure it’s off when you don’t use it as that will save you some talking minutes.
There are many other tips and tricks regarding iPhones and one way to get access to customizations, applications and games for free on your iPhone is by trying an iPhone unlock software which can also be used by pairing your device through Bluetooth with your laptop.
