Keeping my computer functioning at an excellent level seems to be a semi-regular monthly challenge. When it starts running slow and not responding as quickly as I’d like, I have difficulty deciding where the problem exists in my system. Did I download something that had something riding with it that caused the problem? This is not anything apparent from my superficial observation even though I have been the only one using it.
My computer registry frequently appears to be a problem. Since I, and many others I might add, do not know what to look for even if we are able to locate and get into our computer registry, it is obvious we need help. The concept that our registry has been corrupted by the mysterious corrupter is always a possibility even if we have no idea how it became that way. Previous to our computer functioning poorly, the warning that something we might do could cause this problem was not mentioned anywhere.
How many of you in addition to myself have been constantly warned about spyware. This needs to be avoided at all costs if you want to enjoy your computer functioning smoothly. The very name spyware indicated that you will not be warned when something of this nature is about to be added to your computer memory, etc. Again, where do I look to see if any spyware has been added to my computer? If I knew where this was, I could delete it!
When I download new software, I’ve been told that the possibility of downloading something undesirable is always there. If I notice that my computer starts functioning poorly soon after I’ve downloaded some new software, I most likely should remove the most recent download to see if my computer regains its previous stability, etc.
Another idea to check into when your computer starts operating poorly is to check to see if a reported new and improved driver download for some of your peripheral equipment is not compatible with other software already installed on your system.
Some software I have as part of my system downloads new versions of programs I utilize on a daily basis. This happens for me on an authorized upgrade I’ve agreed to when it becomes available. And it happens during sometimes when I’m not near my computer. If the upgrade isn’t compatible with something I have already installed on my computer, this could be a problem. I’m not sure I know when this happens.
I am always looking for a solution to my computer problems which never seem to be the same problem I am familiar with so I can solve it quickly. Most of the time I am off on a new adventure which consists of correcting my computer problem/problems and I need to research and try new solutions I learn about.
The time I invest in trying to correct my problems is time wasted as I view it. I am interested in something that is a major time saver and problem solver. I’m truly thankful when I find something that fits this criteria!!
We have to prevent mishaps rather than correcting it afterwards. Update the antivirus softwares regularly and try not to download unknown and unreliable files from internet. Also, try not to open messages from unknown email addresses with non-sense subject matters. Also, keep the OS updated always especially if it is Windows OS.
