What is A Kindle Book ?

Kindle books are an electronic file containing a published, copyright protected book formatted for ease of reading using a Kindle Reader. Kindle Readers have been built for a number of electronic media including : cell phones, tablets, personal computers, Kindle readers.

Kindle books protect author’s copyright by preventing the copy or edit of the book content. Kindle books are published with an ISBN number. Kindle books are a format of electronic book sponsored by Amazon Kindle Book Store and the downloads of the Kindle readers to devices are accomplished from the Amazon Kindle Reader download page.

Kindle books purchased from Amazon are stored in two places: on your device where you downloaded the file, on the Amazon cloud servers that allow access to the Kindle book at any time you are connected to the internet and logged into Amazon. One reason to download to your personal Kindle Reader device is that when you are disconnected from the Internet, you can continue to read your Kindle Book. One reason to access your Kindle Book from the Amazon cloud server is it limits the amount of data stored on your device.
