Yes hiding!

Marketing is outside your comfort zone as a solo professionals, isn't it?

Heart...

Do you skip marketing entirely? If so, you're hurting your own heart. How so? Because you're hiding you and keeping your help from people who need you.

Do you make these mistakes in hiding your business? If so it's time for a shakeup. It's time to completely stretch your comfort zone.

Boring?

No more boring meet your business! Pour your heart in...

Okay so marketing's not exactly your specialty. As a solo professional you've got Important Stuff To Do.

Comfort

What can you do to feel more comfortable marketing so you don't hide your business from people who need you most?

There's lots of ways. Most take lots of time, talent and treasure. The outliers may require a bit more stretching of your comfort zone.

That's what I'm going for here. Stretch! Stretch your heart to reach the whole world of people with problems you've got the solution for.

You're here to change the world.

You're not an accident or a mistake. You have a purpose. Done well your purpose can indeed change the world. If you're willing to go for goofy!

Stretching...

So when I suggest you really go forth and stretch your comfort zone? Please recognize that I'm seeking to help you out of your zone a little bit here.

Professional?

Professional has room for other than practical, right? More space than stuffy stuff?

Outlandish ideas have the tendency to get your comfort zone stretched enough to find a nice bonus. That nice bonus? Something that wasn't in your comfort zone yesterday suddenly seems to fit quite nicely within your comfort zone of today. Especially compared to ....

Go for goofy!

Get up and take aim at goofy.

Get a chance to talk to a group?

Stand up, curl your hands around your sleeves and wander about. Literally wander!

Use the entire physical space available. Practice ahead of time and be as goofy as you possibly can.

Then when you deliver you'll land it just right.

What does going for goofy look like?

Experiments in good taste that simply aren't part of your style today. Anything that practicing feels true but perhaps a wee bit sheepish to your heart.

Leap!

Going for goofy feels outside your comfort zone. Simple stuff. Storytelling!

Tell your memorable funny stories of your solo professional practice. Go big; go goofy! Keep goofy simple. Move fast where you'd go slow; slow down where fast feels a fit.

Play...

Going for goofy is about play and practice. Do you make these mistakes in hiding your business? If so, maybe it's time to go for goofy!
