The Battle Field Of The Mind is one of Joyce Meyers most popular books. Last year, the book reached it's three million copies sold achievement and I can tell you why.
I personally have read this book three times. I still have it sitting on my bookshelf after transitioning to three different locations since I first read it.
There was once a time in my life when I really needed this book and the information that is provided was very useful during a very difficult phase in my life.
The first time I read it, it was handed down to me by a friend. He suggested the manuscript because he knew the war I was trapped in before I was even able to recognize it. This very special friend of mine have been saved and walking with Christ decades before we crossed paths, so he had quite a bit of knowledge and spiritual insight about the invisible realm and the spiritual warfare we are faced with on a daily bases. When I read the book for the first, it was the enlightenment I desperately needed to get me to the next stage in my walk with Christ.
But then came a second time. I purchased "The battle field of the mind" that had the study guide attached to it and received more insight from personal reflection. It was like reading the book for the first time. It seemed the second time around, I had missed some information from the first time I read it. Nevertheless, the manuscript with the attached study guide served it's purpose.
And I did mention to you that I read it three time right? Yes, I read Joyce Meyers, "Battle Field Of The Mind" three times. The last time was a really crucial necessity. This was a time when I backslid way down a spiral that was just took deep for me to pull myself out of, but by the grace of GOD, I remembered that book.
I knew the most critical thing to get understanding of at that point in my life, was the important of being in control of my thoughts. See our enemy uses our mind as a battlefield. Every word, every decision, every emotion and imagination has to first start with a thought in the mind. We have to determine which one's we will entertain and which one's to delete.
We are weak in this are of control because we have no understanding of how the mind works and how it can used against us. Most of us don't even know that we can have control over our thought patterns. So we become vulnerable to accepting anything that pops into our head.
The battlefield of the mind gives you understandings, not just of how Satan uses our minds against us, but how we can gain control of our thought pattern.
This book has helped me a lot, in many different instances and I take the knowledge I have acquired and apply to just about everything I do in life.
Thank you. I will look for the book you are currently reading. I love Joyce Meyers :)
