Whether you're Christian, Buddhist, Islamic, Jewish, or of any other religious order there are rules to the game if you want to win the prize or even stay on the board.

The Kingdom of God is policed by self-enforced laws pertaining to every activity of its citizens. Akin to governments of mortal living, celestial laws are ranked as to their seriousness of criminality. In the category of personal crimes, fornication ( sex relations outside of marriage ), and adultery ( illicit marital sex ) stand next to murder in seriousness. Anciently the punishment was death ( Leviticus 20:10; Deuteronomy 22:21-29 ). This is how God views the crime of fornication/adultery.

There is no doubt that the temptation to get busy outside of lawful marriage runs rampant within world societies. The media monster is fueled by strategies and tactics that target our normal desires and inflame them into a white- hot, passion-storm that nullifies sound judgement in favor of instant pleasure satiation. Passion mastery then becomes the prime directive.

The first step in this mastery program is to clearly define the problem. Bridling sexual passions is target zero in this campaign. Note that you work to bridle your passions and not completely subvert or negate them. Your concentration is on mastering your insides and not in fighting external influences. Instead of focusing on the gun ( external ) move your body (internal ).

The healthy exercise of love inspired sex ( married ) is not only one of the greatest human fun-time activities, but it is a strict commantment of God. It's kinda impossible to be fruitful and multiply without the sexual engagement. Don't be ashamed or guilty for having perfectly natural, designed feelings. Just be sure to exercise those feelings righteously.

With your problem targeted properly, you map out your plan of attack and get about being who you really want to be and not what your hormones erroneously dictate. Here you take charge of yourself and not only accept full responsibility for your every action but assume absolute dictatorship over your thoughts and emotions. Unchecked random thoughts and unbridled passions will destroy your best efforts at happiness. Self- mastery is the finest investment that you will ever make!

Prayer and scripture study are the two prerequisite mandates that God has instituted for deliverance from all types of bondage. Start here, drop to your knees and bare your soul. You need help beyond yourself to master forces that you can't even see and understand even less. Ask for the exact strength to supply your need. Don't front yourself here. Do it!

Study scriptures for any example of bondage and adapt these lessons to your life. Make the topical guide your best friend in this work and punch the time clock when it's time to go to work. Your spirit literally feeds upon scripture. Don't read and study daily and you become spititually weak. It's your spirit that houses your mindheart and if it's weak then physical passions will dominate to your destruction. Do not tamper with a historically, proven, success formula. Just benefit by doing.

These two actions ( the work ) are to become habitual. As the bridling is a continuous need, these two habits are the daily minimum allowance. Get them done and be done with your problem.

The second and final step is to retrieve your eternal perspective. In the reality of eternal existence we are all literally brothers and sisters born of Exhalted Parents. Every woman that you are attracted to or lust after is your sister, for the true real. Every man that you are attracted to or lust after is your brother. Imagine having esx with your brother or sister and the sickening feeling in your gut is the sure sign of...major wrong don't even think about it!

It's how you see yourself from the depths of your bones that predicate what you will do when your back is to the bricks. Let's advance this thinking, mastery technique a little further along eternal lines alright.

Who do the Gods rule over in Their infinite creations? Their own children of course. So now imagine every man as your very own son and every woman as your precious daughter and try to see yourself having sex with either, according to your own gender. That's a seriously ill taste in your mouth ain't it? Imagination is a powerful tool for achieving total self-mastery over any temptation.
