Hello and there is hope - in the world for reducing Poverty!

I'm no expert on poverty - but living on less than a dollar and a quarter a day is insane!

Yet if you look at the video and links at the bottom of this article - you'll see it is going down.

I love a good story - especially one that gives you some hope. You can find many a good story if you know where to look for them, most of them are NOT on the news etc. So stop looking there!

I'll tell you several good stories -

How about a man who when he was a young decided to get some money together and drill a well in Africa - he did so and when he was done - the school and community, that drilled the well in - sent him many letters and asked he to come there for dedication - honor celebration - he went there but what happened - changed his life forever - because he got to see first hand how is - to live with out clean water! This well - not only saves lives, prevented deaths - for the village, school, and community - it helped them live longer and better lives - just by have clean drinking water!

So he devoted his life - to this cause and has helped and saved many peoples lives.

Another man - created cheaper wheel chairs, and by doing so - has helped people - in many countries live better lives.

One company - and there are several - who use groups of people, with medical staffs - give immunizations - to little children preventing many serious diseases, and vary young deaths.

Others help teach young mothers better hygiene - so infants live longer -

Some work on small loans so woman can build small businesses and live better -

Yet others work on eye surgeries and glasses, so people can see and be more productive.

I know a group - that has loans - they give to young men and woman so they can get into trades, and get out of poverty - after they go through the schooling and get into the career - they pay the loans back - this in turn is used again to repeat the same process to some one else -

I'll end with a last story - a couple who wanted to adopt a girl in Hattie - had to fly down into another country to get there - because of a great earth quake, but they were helped by others, to save many starving infants, and also helped by another group, to get pass ports to 23 infants who - had parents waiting in Miami -

They also had the help of God too - all this was done while they got their future daughter back to the states.

Plus they had two or three helicopters - which were stripped out of chairs - so they could pack the infants into them - as tight as possible while they flew into an UN place, where a plane flew them into Miami -

None of which would have happened, with out the grace and blessings of God - plus some great resources that came together.

Look for the good and work for the good - bless others as you do so -

This world needs great leaders and givers!
