There are many celebrities I would like to meet, ranging from actors, singers, and writers. The list is lengthy. After giving it some thought, however, I have managed to narrow it down to ten people. Here they are, in no particular order.
First, there is Alecia Moore, better known as Pink. I love her song "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)". I would love to talk with her and find out what inspired this song and why she chose the stage name Pink. I would like to ask her when she knew that she wanted to be a singer.
Second, there is James Patterson, my favorite author. I love his suspense-filled stories and his characters. I would love to ask him how he comes up with his stories and who inspired his character Alex Cross. Of all of the books that he writes, his Alex Cross books are my favorite.
Third, there is Barbara Walters. I would like to ask her when she knew that she wanted to go into journalism. I would like to ask her if she experienced stage fright the first time she was in front of the television cameras and how she coped with it. I would also like to ask her about the most memorable story she has covered for "20/20".
Another person I would like to meet is Will Smith. I would like to ask him what it was like to work with the cast of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and whether he prefers acting in movies or television shows.
The fifth person I would like to meet is Jamie Lee Curtis. I would like to ask her what it was like working with Lindsay Lohan on "Freaky Friday" and what it was like to play Dr. Tess Coleman.
Sixth, I would like to meet Steve Martin. I would like to ask him what his favorite movie role was and what it was like to work with the cast of "Cheaper By the Dozen".
Another person I would like to meet is John Tesh, host of "The John Tesh Radio Show". I would like to ask him what it takes to be a researcher for his show, what he has learned by doing the show, and what it is like to perform in front of a crowd.
Then there is Casey Kasem, host of what was, at one time, "Casey's Top 40". I would like to ask him what it was like to count down the songs every week, if he ever wanted to go straight to the number one song rather than waiting four hours through 39 other songs before finally playing it, what it was like to read the letters from listeners, who often wrote very moving letters and then requested that he play a particular song. I would also like to ask him what it was like to make a guest appearance on "Saved By the Bell".
Another person I would like to meet is Judy Blume. I would like to ask her when she knew that she wanted to be a writer and whether she prefers writing for adults or preteens.
Finally, I would like to meet Ryan Seacrest, host of "American Idol" and "American Top 40". I would like to ask him what it is like to have such as busy professional life, how he feels about counting down the songs every week on "American Top 40", and what it is like to host "American Idol". I would like to ask him if he tries to predict who will win the competition each season.
What about you? Who would you like to meet?
