How To Look And Feel Young After 40
Join 1000's of Authors at StreetArticles Today!

As we age our bodies just don't work like they did when we were in our early 20's. There are a myriad of things that take place like hair loss, wrinkles, depleted hormone secretion, bone loss, muscle degeneration and just old everyday aches and pains. Well I can tell you most of these things can be changed or reversed.

Do you Remember Jack LaLanne? Jack LaLanne was an American fitness Guru who at the advent of the television was the first to conduct video workouts. Jack died this year at the age of 96. Yes I said 96! He was still in fantastic physical condition and had a very positive outlook on life. His attitude toward life around him was just as important to his physical health. Old Jack was still very active in his Physical conditioning prior to his death and there are photos to prove it.

Now, some people would say it's just a little too late to start exercising at this point in their life. I'm telling you it's not. I'm 47, have no physical ailments, exercise 6 days a week 5 foot 9, 165 lbs and participate in many sports activities. I feel great and won't let the onset of age bring me down. But as I said earlier, my body just doesn't produce like it did when I was in my 20's. This is where Health and Nutrition Supplements come into the picture. I'm going to list off a few different supplements here and I'm not suggesting that you or I should take them all. Each person has to know where and what their needs are.

100% Whey Protein. For increased muscle size and maintenance.

Complete Multi-Vitamin. These have the antioxidants and minerals we need to slow the aging process.

Amino Acid Supplements. For targeting specific ailments or deficiencies. (See my articles on "Amino Acids Hidden Secrets)

Sleep aids. Valerian root and Melatonin are wonderful for aiding in sleep.

Detoxifiers. Milk Thistle and Glutathione are great at removing toxins from the liver and body.

Natural hormone stimulators. Trbulas, DHEA and 7 Keto help to stimulate certain glands that secret Testosterone and growth hormones.

Now if you smoke and or drink heavily, stop! It's adding tons of toxins to your system and it's adding greater stress to your body.

It's time to start exercising. Hit the weights, cardio, swim, yoga etc. Do you want to know how to look and feel younger after 40? Determine what types of supplements you may need and start feeling and looking younger today.
