Should you be taking a multivitamin? Is it really necessary? Recent studies are showing they are necessary and important for optimal health. There are three major reasons why they have become a necessity in today’s modernized world. Also there are thousands of different multivitamins you can take but we want to outline a few that are worth your hard earned dollars.
There are many scammers who have learned that the baby boomers have a strong desire to one stay alive, stay healthy, stay young, and stay active. So all you have to do is throw around some slick words and put together a product that talks the talk, but does not walk the walk and you can make a buck or two.
Let’s talk about the three reasons taking a multivitamin for men over 40 especially, is vital to health today. One reason is they way we cook our food today. Years ago we use to raise our own livestock, plant & grow our own foods, and when we did we cook on wood burning stove.

Roughly 16 vitamins, 12 amino acids, 60 minerals, and 2 to 3 essential fatty acids are needed in your body on a constant basis. Can you be sure, even with the healthiest American diet that you are receiving all of these when you eat? No, so to be sure, it is wisdom to take on a supplement to be sure.
There are thousands of multivitamins you can decide on. Men’s one a day, puritan vitamins, Youngevity products, and the list goes on. The key thing to remember or look out for is to make sure they have all 90 or at least 87 of the nutrients you need. Essential fatty acids usually are not mixed into the rest because of the way the dissolve. Also be careful not to fall for the synthetic brands, but get the natural even organic multivitamin.
Synthetic brands pass through the body barely being use, if at all. These are usually very cheap and have marketing lingo all over them. Liquid is best because it will be absorbed in the body at 96 to 98 percent as opposed to pills.
Men over 40 certainly need a good multivitamin because the body as it ages takes more to recover and optimal health and the ability to fight off disease is a direct result of having the correct amounts of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, essential fatty acids, and antioxidants in the body. Weight loss and management is also a great side or main affect of taking a great multi-vitamin. This is habit you want to implement in your life immediately.
