I love tattoo's, the art, the meaning and where people put these designs on their bodies. I have a butterfly fetish, this to me is transformation and freedom. The ability to transform from a caterpillar into something as magical as a floating butterfly, - love them. I have a butterflies on my right hip moving up to under my arm, I was thinking of adding a branch with cherry blossom weaving between the butterflies - might just have to pursue that option!!

I have been spending sometime looking up the meaning of my tattoo I got when I was 21/22 years old. I got the tattoo to represent new beginnings after I recovered from severe depression and a variety of life challenges. I would have to say that I am by far AMAZED at what I chose considering my lack of research prior to getting it. Everything I chose carries a strong meaning and fit PERFECT with my life challenges including the Cherry Blossom and it's significance in Chinese Culture in overcoming a difficult relationship. Call it intuition if you will:) I am now very happy and have found a balance in my life. -Teresa from California
