There are millions of tattoo designs out there, so there is endless opportunity for your tattoo design to be unique to you. Here are some of the most popular tattoos.

One of the most popular tattoos right now are the tribal tattoos. These tattoo designs have been tattooed for hundreds and hundredst of years and continue to evolve making them more intricate with their styles and designs. Tribal tattoo designs are usually in the traditional black design on the arms and legs or they can be much more colorful covering most of your body. The colorful tribal tattoos are starting to over rule the traditional black tribal.

"Old school" style tattoos are also becoming very popular again. Anchors and such are starting to make a comeback. These kinds of tattoo designs were extremely popular back in the 1960's and are gaining momentum in the present. Both men and women are taking to the anchor tattoo designs and any thing else from the past.

In regards to women, the lower back tattoo designs are some of the most popular tattoos a women can have. Being one of the most sensual places on a women's body, the lower back makes a great home for tattoo designs. Tribal is the most popular in this location but flowers, dragons, and other designs make awesome choices for the lower back. This is because the curves on a women's back adds to the creative design of a tattoo.

Another popular style that is making a big comeback are dragon designs. There are all kinds of dragon styles to choose from, from mythological dragons to the ancient dragons of China. Dragons are mostly found on the chest of guys and on the backs of women. Dragons tattoos look great at any size and color. Most men have one whole side of their chest covered by a dragon or perhaps their whole upper part of their arm.

The Celtic tattoo is also one of the most popular tattoos right now. These designs can be mostly found on peopel with a Celtic ancestry but people without also sport these designs. Celtic tattoos come in all kinds of symbols and styles that have universal meanings. Also they look awesome when mixed in with tribal designs.
