Writing is just like cooking. Many people said that cooking needs special expertise. It does. That is why there are many excellent catering schools in the world. Where all related to the catering and how to present it taught there. But actually, to become able to cook delicious food, we can learn it without having to become a master chef first.
All we have to do is get used to it. We can try to cook a variety of dishes and begin to train to use any kind of flavor and train our tongue to taste and our nose to smell. So we can know how is a cuisine still new and tasty or what kind of dishes would be more savory if the longer they are cooked again and again.
And so does writing. We will master it if we get used to it. We can do it because we get used to doing it. That's the key.
Indeed, there are many of us who are born with writing talent. That's really a natural gift. We just need to know some important points to be able to write excellent writing that can get people interested starting from the very first word. People might be emotionally captivated when they start to capture the essence of our writing, there are people who feel happy, sad, and even some people who suddenly burst out laughing when it comes to certain sentences. It all requires some special techniques where we can play with our readers emotions as we like. People who have this natural writing talent can easily do it.
Do not worry, we can learn this expertise, just like cooking. And just like cooking, we do not need certain writing schools such as journalistic schools. Perhaps, we just need to learn grammar so that we can write properly.
And once again, all we need is to familiarize ourselves with it. Practice and do not easily give up. "Practice makes us perfect". That's absolutely right!
How to avoid the sense of desperation?
Because usually, in reality, speaking is not as easy as we implement it. When there are obstacles like we are running out of things to write, our minds are tired, and many other reasons, the easiest way is we usually give in and not interested anymore in giving ourselves a second chance, third chance, and so on.
Right here, we need to give a special emphasis that to be a 'good writer' we must learn to master and control our emotions. Happy, sad, bored, pleased or displeased with something, including pleased or displeased with a product, or even a particular person so that we lose our objectivity which will in turn causes us to lose the opportunity to earn money through our writing.
The point is how we can learn to control and master our emotions, learn to be free from any burden when we're writing. Focus on how to prepare a dish that invites interest, arouses appetite. And how can we influence our readers emotions if we are not smart enough to regulate our own emotions?
