Calling Internationally Without Spending A Lot

In one of my articles titled, "Making International Calls Without Breaking Your Wallet", I briefly talked about using Prepaid Calling Cards. Using a prepaid calling card is one way of making an international phone call. But in this article I am going to mention a couple of ways on how to stay in touch with family and friends from all parts of the world. The reason is because we should not have to give up staying in touch with the people we love and enjoy keeping in touch.

When it comes to keeping contact with everyone you know it can sometimes be hard to call someone if they are located or currently living in another country. Sometimes it is hard to stay in touch with everyone because we often work most hours of the day and when arrive home. The only thing we want to do the most is to have some R & R, rest and relaxation. But as we are relaxing, we often think about what some of our friends are doing or how our family members are doing. This is where one of these methods comes in and provides options for you.

Method One: Prepaid Calling Cards

The first method is using Prepaid calling cards. If you are the type of person who dislikes having to run to the store, especially when it is late and most of the stores are closed. It's absolutely hard to buy a phone card just to call someone and see how that person is doing. The fact that prepaid calling cards are available to you online, 24 hours, 7 days a week is great resource to have. It is one of the best things to have available on your home phone or cell phone. On top of that, if you are like me who often make phone calls to South America or any country in Latin America, it is definitely a great tool to have right by your side.

Method Two: VoIP

The second method is VoIP. What VoIP stands for is voice over internet protocol. Without getting to technical it basically means the company uses internet based equipment. Now what it does for you is that it gives you clear and better quality when making phone calls. Each phone call that is made, instead of having it go through a telephone switch board, it goes through the internet. Therefore it gives you a better sound and hearing when you make a phone call.

Nowadays VoIP is becoming more popular and people are beginning to enjoy better quality during their phone calls. However, the steps you would follow is practically the same as using a prepaid calling card. An access number is provided to you by the company, after you mark the number it asks you to dial a destination telephone number. In the end it connects you to that number and you are off talking with that person.

Although using a prepaid calling card and using VoIP are quite similar when you make a call, but the quality in sound between you and the other person is different. Once you experience making calls to other countries using one of the two methods. You will hear the difference in sound and quality call making. In this world everyone loves to have options available to them. The more options, the better the results.

In conclusion, you have plenty of ways to make international phone calls. But some of those ways can be very expensive. Using one of the two methods above will actually help you in many ways possible. In the long run many people would consider having these options available. In the case that there is anyone who has never made an international phone call or is looking for a better method. These methods will help you and more.
