First I would like to begin and tell you that you all can relax, Most of the people are having some kind of difficulty to get up early every morning. But how can you know if you are just squeezing another extra 10 minutes of morning nap in bed, or you really have a problem of getting up in the morning? The simple way to get the answer for that is just you need to ask yourself a few questions: • Does the fact that you can't get up early has a bad effect on your surrounding? • Do you usually late for job because you get up late? (At least twice a week) • Is the fact you get up late causes you to skip basic procedures? (brushing teeth, breakfast) • Is it always hard for you to get up in the morning no matter how many hours have you slept? • Do you often sleep through your alarm clock? (At least twice a week)
If you answered 'yes' for 2 questions so it seems to be that you are in need a heavy sleeper.
Welcome to the club
So first of all welcome to the club:). I was a heavy sleeper for years and for at least 10 years I remember myself struggling every single morning to get up and get out of my bed. This problem caused me to miss classes in College. I became chronicle late to every class and meeting. Every morning I left my house running like crazy. I even didn't have time to brush my teeth (no point of talking about breakfast). I remember some mornings that because I was so used to the sound of my old alarm clock that I simply kept sleeping totally ignoring it. My problem became more serious when I started my new job. I had to start my job at 6:30 AM (!) unfortunately after 4 months of being lake almost every day, my boss didn’t have a choice and I found myself fired.
Taking action!
At this stage I've reached for a decision with myself that I must do something about my problem of getting up in the morning. I started to do some research on the internet I read a lot of article about the medical causes for this and I went to see Doctors who are specialists in the sleeping science. They offered a lot of ways to handle my problem. Some were psychological strategies and some even suggested me to begin medical treatment. But I decided to deal with the problem creatively. I looked for a solution that will be cheap, immediately affective and with no side effects.
Change what is not working
I've reached for a conclusion that it's all about our alarm clock. The alarm clock is the first thing that we hear when it's time to get up. For me, the sound of my old alarm clock is the most depressing sound that exists on earth. That is why I decided to get rid of my old annoying alarm clock and to get myself an alarm clock for heavy sleepers.
Get full of energy!
My dear friends, since I've got this alarm clock I became a "getting up machine". Every morning this alarm clock saves my day. it gives me a boost of energy and pushes me of the bed. Since I've got my new alarm clock I never late again to work. (I even have time for breakfast). I just found a formula that works: go to bed as early as you can, set your heavy sleeper alarm clock, get up early to a morning full of energy. Oh, and one last thing, during my research that I mentioned before I found a web site that gave me a lot of cool and affective ideas for How to Get Up Early. It offers you a great deal of tips and information about this issue. Besides it is very nice to know that you're not the only person how has this problem…
