Time Management Is Important Because

Getting things done is an interesting thing . Why ? Because it seems like everybody has a different definition of and description of for it . I've been around multiple people who talk like and act like what it means is starting 10 or 15 new things per day . And heck , if you manage to get 1 thing done by 5pm or closing time , then you really did it for that day . And you know either push in the quality of your workmanship in over here or pull it in over there and it's good enough for government work , right ( as a figure of speech )

. Then there's the people who consistently look busy , but could care less about wheter or not what they are doing is quality work that contributes to a successful project that is about what the boss or company cares about getting done

Still touching on the above , you've seen it . As long as they look like an ant in an antpile that someone poured a pot of coffee on or a pepsi , they act like that's what a successful day at work is . Or picture in your mind a beehive that someone throws a rock at from a distance , then runs like heck . .

Think of it through out your career like you achieve more by the things you finish and did a good job of and actually had something to do with your bosses object that he or she was talking about at the last company meeting that you went to . I think it's a good idea to hedge multiple things by how they make you feel and by you know what jimmy the cricket say while he's on your shoulder as to how good an idea is . Do you remeber jimmy the cricket from elementary school .

You can beat work overload , be more effecient and be more effective . Did you ever get that feeling like I think it's time to streamline . Time management is important because it helps you streamline your activities . Streamlining has to do with figuring out what is smart to quit doing or to minimize . If it doesn't have any thing to do with your boss's or company's core values or objectives or goals or the most important things he or she is trying to accomplish , then quit doing it ; or at least minimize it and see if your supervisor notices or ask for some feedback .
