Getting traffic to your site can be done in so many ways. There are the obvious one like article marketing and classified ads as well as posting on forums. I have 3 very novel ways to attract more web site visitors, and for you to get more traffic. I am speaking about local traffic to attract visitors

1. Tear Off Flyers

Sometimes we are so caught up with the idea of getting global attraction, that we ignore the people who live around us. I am not speaking about talking to your friends, or trying to get people to jump on board, and looking at your site allowing you to sell to them.

What I am speaking about is creating a tear off flyer. You know the ones I am speaking about, they are the ones you see on notice boards at shopping malls. This is where you can tear off a phone number so you can call them later. But instead of tearing off a phone number you can put the name of your website and a web address.

If you are promoting an affiliate marketing website then, It can go something like ‘Do want to make a fulltime living with part time hours...’. Then you can put in dot points of all the things it is not, like it is not, MLM, not network marketing, not direct marketing, not going to cost you an arm and a leg to set up’. Then you put some dot a point on what it is ‘this is a real business, you can earn a full time income working part time’ and so on. You will only need to print off a couple of hundred copies, and place them in shopping malls and any where there is a notice board. You can create them on Microsoft publisher.

2. Drop Cards

You can also use what is called drop cards. These have a lot more flexibility, then tear off flyers because you are not restricted to notice boards. You can go to a news agency and place them in magazines as well as placing them on counters, you can also place them on notice boards as well as car windows and even in letterboxes. This is easily printed using publisher, and you just buy some tear off cards that you can get from most stationary stores.

3. Letter Box Drop

As an affiliate marketer this is perhaps the one way you can go wild, and put your creative juices into action. With letterbox flyers you can also put them on cars windows, as well as in letter boxes you can also place them on notice boards. The best thing about letter box flyers is that people often bring them into their house and if what you put on their pricks their interest enough, then they can just go to their computer and check out the web address. Of course you still need to do your usual way of marketing like article marketing online classified ads, blog posts comment marketing etc but this is just another avenue that you may not have consided
