Beach Vacation

My first beach vacation was one that I will always remember.I resided at a lovely beach resort in Nassau Bahamas, called the Crystal Palace Beach Hotel,Cable Beach .The first day involved getting familiar with the hotel, the staff, beach events and visiting its beautiful exotic garden.

Monday 1 st November 2010

I spent the early part of the second day lying on the beach, reading a book about the history of the Bahamas. But as the hours passed, the temptation to take a swim had become irristable.I swam for about twenty minutes, dried myself off,and returned to my beach chair, where I applied lotion to my body and enjoyed the rest of the day relaxing.

Tuesday 2nd November 2010

My third day was one of action,I decided to play volleyball.I played for about two hours, had lunch and later decided to go snorkeling. The desire to view the sea bottom and its hidden beauty was always something that I enjoyed. After snorkeling for about fifteen minutes,I decided to take my underwater exploration to another level, and went scuba diving. The experience was amazing,it's as if you are in another world close up.The clarity of the water allows you visualize the various type of fishes and corals structures unlike anything on land. After my underwater trip, the hotel treated us to a feast of Conch fritter and Conch Salad.

3rd Day November 2010

I have always wanted to ride a Jet Ski,and this was my opportunity.I did not enjoy my first experience because the waves were not very calm, and the waves continue to rise and fall , creating a bumpy ride. However on the afternoon of that same day,the weather had change and the sea was without motion. The water reflection was like glass, and this was best time for riding a jet ski.I rode for the rest of the day and retired to my hotel as the sun went down.

Thursday 4th November 2010

After having breakfast,I went out to the Beach, and saw a small island in the distance.I was looking for a new type of adventure.I hired a sail boat to take me to this island. The weather was calm and the waves were at peace with itself, not a ripple as the boat glided through this peaceful sea. From the distance we could see white sandy beaches, coconut trees leaves swaying in the wind. The boat captain dropped anchor and we waded ashore.I rested on the beach for about half an hour, when the boat captain asked me if I was hungry,I said yes!He then climbed one of the coconut trees and we helped ourselves to coconuts .We then decided to return to the hotel, because it was getting late. This was the last day of my vacation, and I did not want to leave.
