Ensenada, Mexico: Fun - loving Travelers Wanted

Thinking of taking a trip to some place exotic and fun? Then why not, Ensenada! Okay, okay I am sorry for the cheesy line but I needed to get your attention somehow, but really why not a great vacation somewhere different this summer.

Imagine this.... warm beach, the blue seas crashes into the coastline while a subtle, yet cool breeze that cause the palm trees to sway caresses your skin. The cool breeze by itself is enough to give you goosebumps . The smell of freshly prepared food enters your nose and tease your tongue. At night the beach life comes alive. The bright lights of the fire cover the sandy beach while the night air drops the temperature down just cool enough to snuggle up with. Doesn't this sound great, sound like something worth checking out. Sadly for me(and great for you) I have to write this article describing this place to you(and they say I don't love my readers... just kidding).

Things to do in Ensenada

Visit “La Bufadora” the only marine geyser in North America

Travel the wine route, where 90 % of Mexico’s wine vineyard is located.

Visit the Rivera Center of the Pacific, former Casino of the 1930s’

Ensenada has a natural geyser that has formed from the salty, foamy seawater throughout the years. In reality there is an eruption every minute, but the size of the eruption depends on the amount of seawater entering the narrow passage. Once enough water has entered into the geyser, good old pressure and speed take over and caused the sea water eruption. This water show is one of the many attraction that Mexico has available.

Ensenada is a great place to visit if you are into scenery and love the outdoors but what if your more of a connoisseur of sorts. The Wine Route of Ensenada is the perfect place for you! Boasting Mexico's largest production of wine the vineyard here have everything from dessert wines, white wines to red wines and Brandy(distilled wine).

If wine isn't your thing I have one last spot in mind, that is sure to take you on a trip back in time. The Hotel Riviera del Pacific opened in 1930. During its hey day it was a popular attraction for many popular actors, painters, as well as musicians. As time progressed and Ensenada became more popular many other hotels opened up. Sadly, The Hotel could not keep up with competition, and closed down in 1964. Luckily, though it is now a museum as well as cultural center. A fun fact of this historical hotel was that it is considered the place were Margaritas were 1st made.

As you can see Ensenada host different attractions for tourists, looking to unwind and enjoy themselves. I am booking a flight out to Ensenada and will probably write a little article on my experiences there. I hope that this article has informed, and entertained you, and until next time peace and love.
