Top Attractions In Holland

It is well-known that Holland is famous for tulips, canals and windmills but there is much more to see and to do in Holland.

Kasteel de Haar

Kasteel de Haar is the castle in the province of Utrecht. It is loved both by tourists and citizens because of its appearance and similarity to the castle from a story book. The castle was built by the Dutch architect and looks extremely fascinating with moats, bridges and gates.

Hoge Veluwe National Park

This park is the largest in Holland. The territory of the park is huge and also has museums on its territory. Here you may enjoy hiking, horse-riding and camping.

The Windmills of Kinderdijk

Visiting Holland you will undoubtedly want to experience the iconic windmills. The best place to do so is in Kinderijik village. It the place where there are lots of windmills, it was even include in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Red Light District is what attracts visitors to Amsterdam. Red Lights in the evening look really nice adding a specific charm to the city image. After exploring the Red Light District drop by one of the coffeeshops in the area to fully experience liberal Holland. Some of the coffeeshops may not have the menu you are looking for just in front of you in the majority of cases you will have to ask for it. Don’t be shy. It’s a normal thing here. But do not smoke outside coffeeshops as it is unsafe.
