Truth is, weddings are quite expensive, especially when you don't know where to look or turn and save on your wedding. All of us want our wedding special, am I right?
One thing for sure is that it's sad to see a broke bride struggling to pay for her wedding. This is where you come in and personally sponsor her wedding.
Sponsoring a wedding doesn't have to break your pockets. And no you don't have to run a business to do so either. I see a lot of brides look to small businesses and large by writing wedding sponsorship proposals. This can take a toll of the bride when she has million other things to worry about. And not to mention, it's not a guaranteed.
Put yourself in her shoes. How would you feel if you had little or no money to make the one day that is supposed to be a day to remember a remarkable one? You'd be stress, disappointed, and alone. Trust me when I tell you there are people out here that have no one or is broke as hell. But hey, they have someone that loves them. Shouldn't that be something to count for?
2 ways to personally sponsor a wedding
- See, with my family, it seems like someone is always getting married, and someway they are always getting the african community to help out with something. I don't care if it's $25, $50, or $100. Every little bit counts and every little bit adds up. If you know someone that is getting married or know of someone that is getting married, by simply giving them a few bucks toward a invitation, flowers, etc, that will make them appreciative and grateful of you, plus you're personally sponsoring a wedding.
- The second way to personally sponsor a wedding is by looking online for broke brides that need help with paying for their wedding. You might think it's whack for women to do that, but honestly, people have pride, especially with weddings, and in my humble opinion, if she says she's broke and need help paying for her wedding, I totally believe it.
- Shoot, some homeless people stand outside and beg for money and food all of the time, and I'm sure you've probably given them a few spare change, why not help towards making someone day happy? You'll feel good that you did.
Final thoughts on the subject
Sponsoring a wedding is something that comes straight from the heart. You don't have to know someone to know that you've made them smile and brighten their day. Your wedding will probably be fabulous because you have the funds to make your wedding fabulous, now think about how you'd feel if you didn't have the funds to make a remarkable wedding, sad right? There are a lot broke brides that need someone like you to help out towards their special day.
