Bridal Shower Party Favors – Personalized And Edible

There are so many clever, edible bridal shower party favors on the market that it is difficult to choose just one! They come packaged in pretty tins, boxes, bags, and other creative containers. Many of them can be personalized with the name of the bride and groom, date of the wedding, initials, or a special quote.

Without a doubt, the most popular bridal shower party favors involve chocolate. Favorites include M&M’s, Hershey’s kisses, and Reese’s peanut butter cups packaged in a variety of fun tins, wrappers and boxes. Monogrammed chocolates from a local candy shop would make a wonderful personalized gift. How about giving the gift of chocolate as cocoa mix in a pint jar with a personalized label, chocolate cupcakes with the first initial of each guest on the icing, or monogrammed chocolate petit fours?

Cookies are always a hit as a bridal shower party favor. Iced cookies in the shape of hearts, wedding cakes, shoes, flowers, and other feminine shapes are perfect for the occasion. You can make them yourself, purchase them online, or have them custom made by a cake and cookie decorator. You can even purchase them on websites like Etsy from independent cookie decorators. Fortune cookies (plain or dipped in chocolate) with personalized messages tucked inside always manage to spark a conversation or two. Though, my personal favorite is a stacked wedding cake cookie. It’s a stack of six cookies in three layers that get progressively smaller as they go up. The cookie is piped with icing to look like a cake.

Mini jars of jam, honey, or maple syrup make sweet, edible bridal shower party favors. Similar gifts include mini bottles of specially labeled oil and vinegar, hot sauce and barbeque sauce.

Tins and boxes of mints have always been a popular favor at bridal showers. Other tried and true gifts are jordan almonds, nuts, and jelly beans. A newcomer to the edible bridal shower favor scene is chocolate covered sunflower seeds. They are surprisingly delicious… cute, too!

Other novel ideas include mixes for cookies, muffins, and scones. Specialty coffee, tea, cappuccino, and cocktail infusion mixes are also great options. You could create your own packaging and make these gifts yourself or you can find them pre-packaged online.

Have fun choosing your bridal shower party favors! With all of the available choices, and a little bit of creativity, you are sure to find just the right favor for your upcoming bridal shower.
