4 Easy Steps To Boost Your Metabolism

There are several ways to increase your metabolism in a natural way. Boosting your metabolism may help you to lose weight in a faster rate.

1- Dont't skip breakfast.

As we all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Having a healthy breakfast may boost your metabolic rate therefore help you to lose weight. Breakfast should be eaten within the first hour after you wake up. This will protect your muscular mass in your body which is the main fat burning mechanism your body has. Having a late breakfast is not recommended because it may cause anxiety and may decrease the metabolic rate.

2- Short and intense exercise sessions.

This will activate your blood and oxygen flow in a short period of time and it will increase your metabolism. This will also cause hormonal changes within your body that will help you to lose weight. Some examples of short and intense exercise are: stair climbing, lifting weights and running. This type of exercise can be more effective than just walking.

3- Have several small meals during the day instead of two or three big meals.

This will keep your sugar levels stable and will prevent cravings. Our sugar levels decrease an hour after we eat. If we don't keep our sugar levels stable the body may respond by using our muscular mass as fuel. We don't want to lose muscular mass, we want to lose fat so we must keep our sugar levels in check. We should have 4-5 small meals during the day to keep your sugar levels stable. I always recommend eating fruits and vegetables above all else. Which is your favorite vegetable? Experiment with different recipes. Potatoes are excellent. They are low in fat and calories, inexpensive and you can cook them in a variety of ways without ever getting bored.

4- Avoid eating anything at all after 7pm.

This is for me the most important advice. Your last meal of the day should be light. Don't go to bed with a full stomach. This will cause you to gain weight. If you must eat something grab an apple or a piece of pineapple.

5- Drink lots of water during the day.

This will help you keep your metabolism up and control your cravings.

If you are serious about losing weight and increasing your energy you should seriously consider a detox diet. After years of abuse your body needs a fresh start and a chance to rest and heal itself. I started a detox diet about 10 weeks ago and I can honestly say that I feel like a new person. Detoxification is great for losing weight but is not the main reason. Feeling extra energy, the vitality, the mental focus is the primary purpose. Once you detoxify you start looking at life in a whole new dimension. Nothing can ever be compared to that feeling of well being.

Since I started a detox diet i feel like a new person. I have more energy, mental clarity and focus. I strongly recommend it to everybody with a serious commitment in improving your life en every aspect.
