Do the math

When trying to lose weight or even blast belly fat, there are practices that can help you do this. They primarily involve exercising and eating right. Everybody remembers the basic functions of math. One plus one always equals two. In math, there is a scientific equation for everything. What you do to the everything on the left side has to equal the sum of the numbers on the right side.

Losing belly fat follows the same concept. Eating poorly and failing to exercise equals poor health, weight issues, and of course excess belly fat. Therefore, it is easy to see that if you want to change the equation, you have to change to change the equation!

Here are some ideas to help change the results you are getting, simply by changing the behavior that is contributing to the results. First, evaluate your diet. Are getting enough water? This has to be a daily task and a consistent task. Water is gold to our bodies. The fluid helps to flush out toxins. It can also help to minimize the amount of food you eat. If you have been out of sync with your body, you may be eating when your body really is thirsty. Next time you get a craving for food, drink a glass of water first. You may discover you are not as hungry as you thought you were.

Ask yourself what kind of foods you are eating. There are the obvious poor choices such as sugar, candy, white flour, and various junk foods. Anything that can last for days on a shelf is filled with preservatives. This is not a natural product. Remember this adage, if it can last on a shelf for days, it can last on your belly for years. In addition to cutting out bad foods, you also have to eat plenty of healthy foods. Foods that are natural to our bodies. Fruits, vegetables, and grains are a great place to start. Find something you like, there are so many choices with fruits and vegetables. If nothing else, make smoothies from scratch. Natural has an amazing palate of good foods to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds.

The other major part of the equation that contributes to excess belly fat is exercise. If you are not getting enough or doing the right exercises, you can expect to see the numbers on the scale go up. Do not expect to blast belly fat with out exercise. Age definitely factors into this. As we get older, our body stores fat in places we don’t want it to. To compensate, there are millions of different exercises you can do. It is important to stay active in cardio. You can actually achieve results with something as simple as brisk walking to blast belly fat. Depending on your age, you may need to do strength training. Our muscles need more help as our bodies age. Targeting specific areas can help eliminate belly fat.

Sometimes we really want to change the equation. We try to make one plus one equal 3, when in reality that can’t happen. If you are frustrated with the results you are getting, it’s time to change the behavior. You can’t change science. And, no matter how bad you want to sit on the couch eating donuts and watching and still have a smoking body. It’s not going to work. If it did, there would be a lot of people out there that didn’t have weight problems. It’s simple math! But one thing is for certain, once you follow the equation you will blast belly fat.
