Have you been searching for a weight loss program that works?

An effective weight loss program is a something that helps individuals lose weight. It's a program that's sustainable and something that we all can do. Their are many weight loss programs out there, some that work and some that don't. This can be very daunting for anyone searching for one that might work. Some of those diets include: Atkins, South Beach, Vegetarian, Cabbage Soup, Grapefruit, High-Protein, Raw Food, Cave man, etc... Their are unlimited amounts of diets available to the dieter.

As stated earlier this can be overwhelming. A lot of the above diets can work in the beginning, but it's difficult to sustain these results, these diets are for the short term. These programs are effective weight loss programs, however the best way to sustain that weight loss is to make a complete lifestyle change. You might ask how is this done? An effective weight loss program might look as follows: 1) proper eating and 2) regular exercise. Let's look closer at proper eating, this would include the following: every meal should have a quality protein combined with a complex carbohydrate. A quality protein would be eggs, chicken, fish, lean beef, low fat cottage cheese and whey protein. A complex carb would be brown rice, sweet potato, oats, quinoa or beans. Another item that should be incorporated is a veggie maybe broccoli, green beans or spinach. Green fibrous veggies are the best, however a green salad with a small amount of dressing that is low in sugar is also an option. The goal is to eat 5 - 6 small meals per day by combining a protein and a carb along with a veggie at least twice a day. This is the most effective weight loss program that I've found. I've trained hundreds of people and those that have followed this eating style have had great success.

Once an individual gets accustomed to this program it quickly becomes a way of life. Lastly the exercise piece. Individuals doing this program should be exercising at least 3 - 4 times per week. An exercise program should include both weight training and cardio.

Some benefits of following this lifestyle change will include greater energy, sustained fat loss, and overall better health. Unlike all the other aforementioned diets this is not a diet at all, it's a lifestyle change that is very sustainable. So this eating plan coupled with regular exercise is an effective weight loss program.
