Healthy weight loss pills are desired by many  for different reasons - so they don't have to exercise, because  it will may enhance their weight loss - but do they really aid you? In a society where we want things to happen as quickly as possible, the appeal of losing weight is hard to resist; But do they lighten only your wallet? Lets take a look at some weight loss pills and find out.

What You Need To Know

Numerous pills are available at your local drug and grocery store. Even more types of healthy weight loss pills can be searched online by you, due to the internet. Most of these supplements are not tested and can even be dangerous to your health without having proper knowledge of them. I recommend staying away from them, but others wish to test them out themselves which is their choice.

Weight loss aids do not have to be rigorously tested and approved by anyone like prescription drugs have to. This is one sign that you must be aware of. I think that is quite sad, seeing that either way someone is going be digesting them. They should be tested properly like everything else! Once they are on the market, though, the FDA will track its safety and ban the product if it is dangerous to the public.

Be sure to do your homework before taking anything; Talk to a pharmacist or a doctor. you can even research the FDA website.

Common supplements

These are common healthy weight loss pills:

  1. Green Tea Extracts - This substance increases calorie and fat metabolism while decreasing your appetite, or so it states. There is actually not a lot of test results to back this claim, other than the makers themselves. It's said that it's possibly safe, though.
  2. Hoodia -  Decreases your appetite. No actually research that is reliable for this product. People aren't even sure it is safe, but yet it's on the market!
  3. Guar Gum - I've never heard of this, but it supposedly blocks absorption of dietary fats and makes you feel full. Again, no solid proof if it works or is safe.

I've only mentioned a few healthy weight loss pills, that don't seem very healthy. There could be some out there, but check with a doctor before taking any sort of supplement. Take care of yourself; You only get one body.
