A flat stomach, isn't that what we all want?

We have learned in our society that not only a flat stomach will turn heads but it will also make you feel good and is usually and indication of a healthy individual. However, we are all at different levels. Some are trying to trim that small amount so that their strong six pack will turn into an eight pack. Then on the other side are those people that just want to get that stomach flat so that they can at least tie their own shoes. It doesn't matter if your at one end or the other or if you fall in between read on and we have some tips for you.

The Diet

Yep I just said it "the diet" I know most of you reading this article does not want to hear that phrase. Mainly because you automatically think "I can not have the food that I love" (well something like that) The food you eat is the #1 way to remove fat from your stomach or how get flat stomach. I have been obese in my life and I have gone from a defined six pack to an eight pack. The #1 factor is what you are eating. So what you need to do is eat more fiber, for the average person you need at least 25 grams a day. You will find fiber in fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Drink more water, water will clean the body of fat and garbage. You need to drink half your body weight in ounces a day. Example: if your weight is 200 lbs you need to drink 100 Oz. of water a day. That action right there will flush the garbage out of your stomach. Now, if you are not use to drinking that much water a day, it will most likely be uncomfortable for you the first 3 to 7 days. But after that you will start craving water and most likely drink more than your required Oz.


Changing your diet is great! But if you really want some serious results and if you want to really learn how get flat stomach you need to add exercise to your lifestyle change. Do not worry, we are not going to crack the whip on you and make you pass out of lack of oxygen. Here is the best way to begin how get flat stomach. Do fat burning exercise. Do not get this mixed up with a cardio exercise. Listen to what I am going to say because this is very important. You must do fat burning exercise not cardio exercise. here is the difference. Cardio you are working out to where you are burning that lactic acid causing more muscles to break down and then rebuild.(that is a good thing) but that is not what you want to do if you want to learn how get flat stomach. You need to fat burn and that means you need to be able to exercise for 30 minutes to 1 hour being able to carry on a conversation without losing your breath. That is fat burning and that is what you need to focus on to learn how get flat stomach.

Resistance training (Weight lifting)

Do not freak out and think that you have to become a body builder. Because you do not have to, but you do need to work your bodies core. What this means is that you will need to do some type of abdominal exercises and you will need to do some type of lower back exercises. This is vitally important to learning how get flat stomach. Do not over do it but slowly implement it into your exercise.

Here is what it all comes down to

You will need to change what you have been doing because what you have been doing is not teaching you how get flat stomach. But do not change so much so fast that you over do it and you quit. Because getting that flat stomach is not going to happen over night. It has to be something that becomes a lifestyle something that becomes a part of you on a daily bases. The suggestion I have for you so that you do not waste time is to read the 5 step outline to achieving optimal weight loss. This outline will let you know if you are ready to learn how get flat stomach. Do not waste your time or energy anymore make sure that you are ready to embark on this journey. At least by reading the 5 step outline to achieving optimal weight loss you will know before you start if you are going to succeed or fail.
