So how do you change your mind to opt for long-term pleasure instead of short-term pleasure? I’m glad you asked. You must add more pain to the thought of not changing your fat belly and add more pleasure to the thought of having a sexy flat stomach and learning how to cut belly fat.

Answer these questions now. After you answer each question, think about how you feel and what you have written. We are about to add more pain to not changing your fat stomach.

1) If I do not change this habit of not eating right and exercising, how will this bad habit affect my life emotionally?

Now, if you do not change your eating habits right now and start exercising, think about how this is going to hurt you emotionally. You may become extremely depressed because you can’t wear the clothes that you want to wear. You can become stressed out about your body image and the way that your stomach looks, and stress can ultimately lead to other harmful diseases, even death. Emotionally you may never feel sexy again because of the flab on your belly. How is this going to continue to affect the way you feel sexually in a relationship? Do you want to feel sexy again? Write down how keeping a fat stomach is going to hurt you emotionally?

2) If I do not change this habit of not eating right and exercising, how will this bad habit affect me financially?

You might have been trying to learn how to cut belly fat for a long time. I’m sure you have spent quite a bit of money doing this. How will this bad habit affect your wallet? How much money are you going to continue to spend trying to lose the belly fat without achieving any results? Where could you use this money elsewhere instead of dieting? Think about what you have written.

3) If I don’t change this habit of not eating right and exercising, how will this affect my relationships?

One of the biggest ways that a fat belly can affect your relationships is sexually. How intimate do you feel sexually with your fat stomach? What places do you not go to with friends, like the beach, because of the flab around your waist. Think about it and write down how this will affect your relationships.

4) If I don’t change this habit of not eating right and exercising, how will this affect me physically? Think about that and write it down.

Now that you have added more pain to not losing the belly fat, let’s add pleasure to eating right, exercising and losing the belly. Answer these questions:

1) How would I feel if I had a flat stomach?

Sit back and think about this question. Close your eyes and imagine yourself with a beautiful flat stomach right now. What are you wearing? Where are you going? How do you feel?

2) How would I feel emotionally if I had a flat stomach?

3) What types of clothes would I wear if I had a flat stomach?

4) How would I feel sexually if I had a flat stomach?

5) How much money could I save if I achieved my goal of losing weight and gaining a flat stomach?

6) How would this change my relationship with my mate if I had a flat stomach?

Now, read these questions over and over in your mind and imagine how your life would be different if you had a flat stomach. You have now added more pleasure to your longer-term goal of trimming your belly fat. You have learned the most important aspect of how to cut belly fat and you have redirected your mind to wanting long-term pleasure instead of short-term pleasure.

What’s the next step? Now answer this question: What do I have to do right now to start cutting fat from my belly? What do I have to stop doing to cut fat from my belly? Write that down.
